The thing that bothers me about this backlash over fake nerd girl shit is that its making people think that nerd girls, real or fake, give a shit what all these fuckers think.

Whatever happened to ignoring people, or telling them to fuck off, if they’re bothering you?

I don’t need to be accepted by men to be interested in comics, video games, sci-fi or high fantasy. I don’t need their validation.

I don’t care what other people have to say about me in regards to my interest, because I will eat your fucking heart if you give me shit about anything.

If what other people think of you bothers you that much, whether it’s about what you like, how you look or anything else, maybe stop and rethink your life.

My haul from NYCC. Gonna get prints framed on friday. Overall it was a good time, but shit people need to learn how to walk. Good thing there wasn’t a fire

The Green Lantern Is Gay

It’s time to tally up the betting pools and start paying out: If you picked Green Lantern as DC Comics surprise gay character you won. But depending on who was making your odds, you probably didn’t win much. As far as the speculation goes, the Green Lantern had been the favorite, mostly because rumors sourced to those in the know had been making their way around the Web for days saying as much.
At DC’s own blog, Alex Nagorski says the newly reimagined Alan Scott experienced “a traumatic event [that] will serve as the catalyst for him assuming his superhero identity as The Green Lantern.”

john look at this. cause his wife and kids never existed now i guess cause they made him gay, even though this gets rid of his gay son (which is like ironic, maybe. i don’t know, i can never tell)
